what is PRA

PRA is Psychiatric Rehabilitation Australia, a non Government social enterprise which
provides community based support services to people with Psychosocial disadvantage
or psychiatric disability. We provide non clinical rehabilitation aimed at reducing
people's dependence and increasing self esteem and satisfaction.

PRA is based in Sydney and provides services in over
two dozen locations throughout New South Wales.

PRA was launched in Sydney in 1955 by a small
group of interested people  who realised the need
for helping those who had psychiatric illness
to return to a normal and useful life in
the community.

Since then, PRA has supported countless
numbers of people in improving their level
of well-being.
